David Pistrang, a native of Amherst, Massachusetts, graduated from Tufts University in 2004 with a degree in International Relations. After graduation, he worked at two middle schools in Massachusetts before making his way to California in 2006.

David has spent time living in both Chile and Ecuador, and has traveled extensively throughout much of South America. He is happy to be working as a curriculum designer at Connect18, where he is putting his Spanish skills and love for Latin America to good use.

When he's not writing Spanish curriculum, David is usually off exploring the Bay Area. Look for him buying Asian vegetables at the farmer's market, camping and hiking in Yosemite or ordering tacos al pastor at the local taco truck.
