Duncan Hooper spent his earlier years with a skateboard in one hand and a camera in the other. Never realizing his hobby would amount to anything, he learned to edit short movies and skate videos on a camera to VCR editing system.

Years later, Duncan left his native San Francisco to pursue a film degree at the University of California Santa Barbara, where he developed his skills in 16 mm production, animation, and digital non-linear editing. After graduating with a degree in Film Studies in 2004, Duncan returned to San Francisco to pursue a career in multimedia. He continued his education to develop skills in DVD authoring, special effects, Flash, and web design and production.

These days Duncan still enjoys making short skate videos with his friends, but on a much more advanced platform. When he finally steps away from the computer you can usually find Duncan at the beach with his dog, Indy, or catching up on the Law and Order back catalogue.
